Topping-out ceremony: ecoPARK Gelsenkirchen is ahead of its time

Gelsenkirchen, February 26. ecoPARK Gelsenkirchen is ahead of its time – also in terms of construction. The topping-out ceremony for the particularly sustainable business and multi-user commercial park, which ecoPARKS GmbH is building on part of the former Schalke club grounds, was celebrated earlier than planned. While overall completion is planned for the third quarter of this year, the space will probably be available to potential tenants as early as May. A new divisible hall and modern office space are being built on a total gross floor area of around 15,800 square meters.

ecoPARK Gelsenkirchen: sustainable business park to be built in just ten months

The ecoPARK Gelsenkirchen is under construction. Last Friday, the installation of the first concrete pillars was celebrated, with completion planned for late summer. The particularly sustainable business and multi-user commercial park is being built on part of the former Schalke club grounds and comprises a divisible new hall building including office space with a total gross floor area of around 15,800 square meters. The project is being realized as part of a joint venture between ecoPARKS GmbH and AEW.

Construction of ecoPARK Gelsenkirchen is underway. On a section of the former Schalke club grounds, ecoPARKS GmbH is building a particularly sustainable business and multi-user commercial park, whose divisible new hall, including office space, will offer around 16,200 square meters of gross floor space. The project is being carried out in a joint venture with AEW, one of the world's leading real estate investment and asset managers. Completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

Animagus moves into ecoPARK Leipzig West

Leipzig/Markranstädt, September 24. ecoPARK Leipzig-West is filling up: Animagus GmbH is the third tenant to move into the completed new construction project by ecoPARKS GmbH. Animagus, a manufacturer of innovative pet food products, will occupy 2,200 square meters of space in the sustainable business park, where it will produce food supplements and feed for dogs, cats, and horses, among other things.The move into the modern hall space with a flexible office concept in timber construction is planned for the beginning of October.

Brownfield Award: Silver for ecoPARK Jena

The ecoPARK Jena proves that logistics and production buildings for industrial companies can also be ecological pioneers. The new building, which is subsidized under KFW 40 EE and in which Kuroda Jena Tec manufactures linear and rotary drive products, impresses with its sustainability in terms of construction and operation. This has now also been recognized by the jury of the Brownfield24 Awards, which awarded our project the silver prize in the category Brownfields under 10,000 m².

ecoPARKS leases 22,000 square meters in western Leipzig to technology company Skeleton

The real estate developer ecoPARKS, Monheim, has leased around 22,000 square meters to Skeleton Technologies GmbH in its new business park in Markranstädt. Of this, around 3,000 square meters are office and social areas and 19,000 square meters are for production and research. The technology company is the first major tenant at the new ecoPARKS location in western Leipzig. There, the commercial and light industrial real estate developer is constructing around 30,000 square meters of hall space and 3,500 square meters of office space on a site measuring approximately 75,000 square meters. A total of around 50 million euros is being invested in the revitalization of the formerly industrial site.
